Neil leads bird walking tours in Canberra on the first Sunday of every month. We take time to learn how to bird watch as well as seeing and understanding how to identify lots of birds. On an average morning we might expect to see over 30 different species. This is an ideal activity for novices, those new to bird watching, and children over the age of 10.
Join Neil Hermes on 2CC Canberra Radio Station every Saturday at around 9.15 am where he discusses new bird stories, answers live questions from callers, and even has a bird calling identification challenge on air.
Here what some customers have said about Neil Hermes
Just had a delightful day touring sites in Canberra known and unknown. Neil was such a fascinating guide, weaving in places and information about Canberra that I'd never heard of despite living in the region for 17 years. His personal stories and connections with all sorts of things made it so much more interesting. I could do it all over again!
Neil our driver made this day a great experience for us. He knew so much about the city, the government and places to see. He encouraged us, Americans who had never been to Australia, to ask questions and tell him what our priorities were. His tour confirmed we made the right decision to include some time in Canberra to our Sydney trip.
Neill was a fantastic tour guide. Really knows the history of Canberra. He made the day really enjoys able. Highly recommend him!!
