Good birders know to wear clothing that will blend into the habitat they will be exploring.
They choose camouflaged colors or subdued shades of brown, green, and gray so as to avoid standing out too much and scaring the birds away.
Avoid bright colors, especially white, which is a color many birds are accustomed to seeing as a danger warning.
