The Audubon Bird Caller – a cool gadget to help with your birdwatching!

Neil Hermes shares a cool gadget for bird watching called an “Audubon Bird Caller”.  The Audubon Bird Caller is a must-have for any birdwatcher.

It is an American invention created by famous American Birdwatcher Roger Eddy in 1947.

It’s a great little gadget that consists of a birchwood roller and zinc plug. When twisted, this remarkable birchwood and metal instrument makes a variety of sounds similar to wild birds. It can help with your bird watching by encouraging your feathered friends to come a little closer to investigate.
